Η εξοχική κατοικία επιχειρεί να ενσωματώσει τα μαθήματα από την παραδοσιακή Κρητική αρχιτεκτονική με την σύγχρονη κατασκευή.
Με βάση την μελέτη προσανατολισμού, για την καλύτερη θέα όσο και για την βέλτιστη χρήση του ήλιου εντός της κατοικίας τοποθετήται ο βασικός όγκος του κτιρίου στο γήπεδο.
Βασικό συνθετικό στοιχείο είναι η απουσία διαχωριστικών εσωτερικών τοίχων. Οι απαραίτητοι για την ιδιωτικότητα τοίχοι συνθέτουν έναν κύβο εντός της παραλληλόγραμμης κάτοψης χωρίς να εφάπτονται στους τοίχους του περιγράμματος.
This vacation house in attempts to synthesise a form combining lessons from Traditional popular Cretan architecture, and the contemporary building construction solution.
The basic volume of the building is placed within the plot by studying the orientation. Its orientation is such in order to achieve the best result in sunlight at the house's interior spaces.
The composition is based on the absence of separative interior walls. The necessary interior walls, those of the bathroom, are composed of a "cube" within the rectangular plan.
